On a small island
Way far away
That's where my heart lies
And there it shall stay.
For if it gets to close
My life gets hard.
So every once in a while
I send it a card.
Just to keep in touch
Is what I tell it
It doesn't believe me
Or throw a fit.
It knows me too well.
It knows I'm just scared
I can't conceal that
It wants me me repaired
But there's no way
I just want to stay always
The way I am today.
Because you can't break
What's already broken.
